ENVIRONMENTALIST TASKS INDIVIDUALS AND ORGANIZATION ON CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

The Managing Director of Richomax Limited, Mr Ohiagbara Chibusi James, an environmentalist has urged individuals and corporate bodies to pay more attention to Corporate Social Responsibility, especially by providing social services and infrastructural facilities for the citizenry.

He said realities of the moment have indicated that it is not possible for government to shoulder every responsibility alone taking into cognisance the fact that funds accruing to all levels of government have significantly decreased due to falling price of crude oil in the international market

He made this call during the company’s two-year anniversary celebration at 24 road, Festac Town, Lagos recently.

The Managing Director averred that “ a lot can be achieved in the area of environmental sustainability and infrastructural development, amongst others if all hands are on deck .”

Ohiagbara while recounting his 2 years experience noted that “ I am happy that the company has grown and readily available to assist the un-employed by providing services including networking, estate management, haulaging, environmental and health services, amongst others.

The wife of the managing Director, Folashade Ohiagbara while reacting to the anniversary celebration opined that, “the company has improved tremendously from being conventional to an office where things happen. I am excited that we are giving we are giving back to the society that made us. The company is now a household name, which has empowered the youth and created job and wealth”.
