Hours after staff of LAGBUS (red BRT buses) protested the Lagos State Government’s ban on them from plying the Ikorodu Road BRT corridor, the management of the protesting drivers and ticketers has resumed work on the axis. This development was announced few minutes ago after the management of the company and the relevant authorities reached a conclusion for the staff to stop the protest.
According to the Rapid Response Squad (RRS) of the Lagos State Police Command, the “LAGBUS has rolled out buses for operations and services will resume on all routes.” The RRS also revealed that the security agency and other police command are working assiduously to provide security against further attacks by miscreants who took advantage of the situation to vandalize properties.
