A host of Nigerians including, former footballer, John Fashanu were invited to observe the 2016 US elections at the US Embassy in Abuja on November 8th.

Speaking at the event, Deputy chief, David Young had this to say;

“We believe that only through the process of continually reexamining whether we are staying true to our Declaration of Independence, have we been compelled to ensure that all members of the American family, women and minority groups, all religions, all ethnicities, will share the same rights, the same benefits of being an American.”
