I got this from a friend's facebook and decided to share:
Just so you all know, all those abroadians you are shading and hoping they will all return to Nigeria this week,or next or the next:
THEY will still go to work this week and the next.
In America.
They will still earn around $800/week,average.
Their children will still school for free and be exposed to experiences your children can only dream of in Nigerian schools however 'international' their signboards screams out.
They will have access to prime healthcare.
They will have access to 24/7 electricity and gas.
If ole ajibole come to their apartment at 1 am and they dial 911,eke will be on their doorsteps at 1.01am.And they will not ask them to fuel their cars or small kolanut for coming o.
They will plan for and attend local holidays within the US that will leave your jaws agape.
What they can buy for change and eat within the supermarket door and their cars, you will budget to afford to eat it at least once a year?
And at the end of it all, when you call them for help, they will go to western union and wire you $100
And you will go and fight for that $100 to be given to you in FX so that you can go change it with the mallam and make N400 per dollar plus change.
And the resultant forty thousand plus change ,would be like two thirds of your regular monthly salary ,all in including expenses.
So biko, tell me,are you sure the person who did this jazz on top of your head is still alive? If he or she is,why haven't you gone to beg them to release you from that spell so you can focus on Nigeria and its myriad issues?
Why are you shading people who have life easier than you?
Even if Trump deports them on the 21st of January,do you think they will come and suffer with you?Don't you realize that their coming home might even make your situation worse off?Do you know a lot of companies prefer diasporan hire because they work like packhorses and bring fun and innovation to the workplace?Go and research their work ethics, you think its this one you will be working and facebooking at the same time?Or your grandfather will be dying every three three months?
Have you seen any abroadian returnee looking for work? They come and go straight into entrepreneurship or your oga will hire them and give them two steps above you just because of that accent you are mocking.
Oh,you don't know?
You SAY'god' put Trump in the white house?
And that same 'god' didn't remember to package small sense for you?
