I concur.

By the way, I hope you were born here, and you're not some hypocrytical loser that broke the law to stay here.

I was not born here but gained permanent residency through my father who married a citizen back in the 80s.

Honestly you have a comprehension problem and now I understand where your bias comes from, you are one of those CNN watching socialist. Let me repeat my stance, all illegal immigrants are criminals. They have broken the law and should be deported but just because I believe that does not mean it will happen. Your Washington post article also mentions that the figure could be up to 1.9 million if we count legal immigrants convicted of felonies that causes them to lose their legal status. Learn to read carefully instead of jumping at every article you see! As for your shade on my qualifications, you couldn't be more ignorant if you think that an Olabisi Onabanjo University degree is what I used to rise into a management position at the biggest insurance firm in the U.S. I would love to enlighten you more but it's 8pm here and I need to read my son a bedtime story smiley smiley
Yet you failed to state what your qualifications are .... it does explain why you think an ethnic grocery store/warehouse is an 'insurance firm' ... grin grin
I guess you are one of the Sean Hannity sheep that will accept any numbers thrown at them as "fact" .. LOL. You clearly said 2-3 million illegals and so why are you quoting the WP's figure on legal immigrants. You are commiting false equivalence!
Yes, go read that book ... I think it may actually do you more good grin grin

Ethnic grocery store? Now you're just sounding ridiculous! I can't blame you tho,you are still a boy getting fed by mama and papa in Uyo and probably never visited the airport not to talk of stepping on U.S soil. As an auditor I should probe your mental status as they are clearly deficient in terms of soft and hard controls. I've had fun so far but I'm actually starting to pity you, so much ignorance and the little that you know are fragments copied off of the internet with no research whatsoever coming from within. You worry so much about my qualifications when just a little research would give you the information you seek through social media. It's been fun but this much ignorance is too much for any man to take.....shalom!

I respect you sir, just because his father who must have been an illegal immigrant married a u.s citizen thus paving way for this guy, he has mouth to spew rubbish up and down. Just because he is fortunate, see all the nonsense he has been spewing on this thread. If he was at the other side would he talk this way? I had to restrain myself from giving him a piece of my mind. You don't argue wiv people like this. Does he know what suffering is? Until when he is attacked violently by this same institution he greatly defends, then he will shield his judgemental and arrogant ass....

Let me address your points one after the other:

1. Striking down unfavorable portions of Obamacare via reconciliation and leave the favorable portions.
This is Alice in wonderland wish list, when it comes down to the actual work, it is not possible. The most hated unfavorable portion of Obamacare is the individual mandate and the favorable portions seems to be: removal of pre-existing condition for buying insurance, allowing teens to stay on their parents policies till age 26, removing lifetime caps, etc.

If you look closely, the favorable portions is being paid for by the unfavorable portion, if you remove the individual mandate....Insurance company will not be able to offer any of the favorable portions, because their pool will only contain sick people, no one will be forced to buy insurance until they are sick and the insurance companies will be out of business within a month.

The only sure path is to repeal the whole of Obamacare, or appoint DHS reps that will change rules to undermine the law or starve it of funds, the net effect of any of these is, about 20 million Americans will loose coverage, and all the favorable portions that he promised Americans during the campaign that, he will keep, will be all gone! The Republican will have a lot to answer for in situation like these, next time around at the pool and believe me, despite all the talks, they are approaching 'Repeal of Obamacare' with caution.

2. NAFTA and TPP Dead!
Yes, they can do this, but they risk running the Country into a Recession. By repealing NAFTA, the flow of America manufactured goods and services will also be subjected to the same type of tariff and fees abroad that the American government subjected these countries goods to at the import into American. As we know, no single country is an Island, if American goods & services do not find favorable entrances into markets all over the world, those manufacturing companies that were been protected by these policies in America will crumble under their own weight. Plus, this will exacerbate the problem at the US-mexico border...one of the things NAFTA did was to allow companies strive in Mexico that employed lots of Mexicans, many Agricultural companies sprang up in mexico because they had easy access to America market. Once NAFTA is repealed, all those people will head to border and will invade America for jobs. If Trump like, let him built a 30ft wall, they will construct a 31ft ladder, plus digger additional and bigger tunnels into America.

3. Deport 2-3million illegal Immigrants
Firstly, this will require a huge budget, I doubt is congress is going to appropriate this kind of funds, so this huge task will be left to current ICE agents, plus...it is not true that illegal immigrates do not have these inalienable rights that citizens have. They have a right to due process of the law, you cannot just capture them in the night and ship them home the next morning. Only a judge can order deportation, and if these immigrats have access to good lawyers, they can delay this process for a long time and if this is coordinated, they will clog the court system.

Plus, American businesses love cheap labor, those grocery you see at Walmart and your local supermarket are cheap thanks to the cheap labor from the illegal Mexicans. So All that Trump policies here will achieve is to drive them underground.

If Trump and the GOP truly want to deport 3million illegals, they would have gone after the employers. If the demand is dried, the supply will crumble, but they will not do that, because most of these businesses are own by Republicans and Republican donors.

4. Remember, majority of Americans voted for Hillary. Trump's win is attributed to the fact that, many people stayed home and did not border to vote, most believed that Hillary got it in the bags and did not border to vote. So Trump or the Republicans do not have a mandate here. As they risk loosing their jobs, the next time around, hence they will be very cautious on everything they do.

Will there be any changes with Trump win? Yes! there will be changes, but they will not be as drastic as he suggested during the campaign.
I must admit this write-up of yours was well thought out, but I must also note it is not completely factual.
I'll try and summarize as I don't want to type too much, a lil busy.

- About NAFTA and TPP, the deal is to be renegotiated not repealed.

- About Obamacare, a Republican congress will find a working way around that in such a way that it does not come back to bite their arses in the future. You were right when you said the Republicans are going to be careful about decisions they make, this is why completely repealing Obamacare is not the ONLY sure path and they can't leave it unchanged either with premiums skyrocketing.

- About deporting 2-3million illegals, practically this wont be possible in just four years. It's a gradual and systematic process with stages, and may not require a humongous budget allocation to cover its entirety.

- About Trump not having a mandate, well I suppose this is subject to perception because unlike you implied, more votes were actually cast this time than in 2012 & 08. That there was less voter turnout is a statement that is made when contrasted with population growth between 2012 & 2016.
Republican votes did not stay steady rather it increased proven by the win in some blue states and close race in others, Democrat votes is actually the one that may have been steady or as some pundits claim, even reduced..and NO,its not entirely because people stayed home, its also because a lot of Bernie Sanders supporters weren't completely won over by Hillary Clinton.

Wow, I guess I ended up typing a lot embarassed
