Prof. Lanre fagbohun declared in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria yesterday that LASU is set to provide 6,000 accommodation hostels.
For the past few years back, LASU have not been able to provide hostels for its male students as only the females students are given accommodation facilities. But yesterday the VC Prof. Lanre Fagbohun ia an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria stated that Lagos state university is set to embark on the construction of a 6,000 accommodation hostels for both male and female students.
He also stated in the interview that having gotten the permission from the Lagos state hpuse of assembly, and the go ahead from the state government to embark on the said project, that the contract would be given to private construction companies as there are many unfinished projects in the state, that the project would not be left in the hands of the government alone.
