Nigeria is finished! Nothing is working! Nobody cares. ASUU is fighting for their pocket. My boss who is a lecturer in a very big University said ASUU' main reason for embarking on the strike is because of their pocket, so they masked it with 'other demands'. The Federal government as at today has agreed to meet their "other demands" but doesn't want to meet the selfish demands of the union and yet they want to continue with the strike.
Which means ASUU don't even care about the students and we expect to progress as a country like this?

Still going on strike for their own pockets...u think they care if students sit on the floor or on the table?

The academic environment is becoming grossly corrupt. By the time govt bribes ASUU officials using the carrot method they will call it off with immediate alacrity.

And if ASUU is proving to be too wise, It means they will not receive their salaries

The academics have run out of ideas. They are mainly interested in money & politics. Their dream desire is to be professors. Of what use is a professor who has not added value to the society? Mediocrity is at its peak in the educational section from top to buttock starting from the ministry to the classrooms. The survival of the system is in research, patents & good governance. What is the function of TETFUND? A lot of lecturers are given money ranging from N5-12M to study irrelevant postgrauate courses abroad. Don't we offer such courses in Nigeria? ASUU should be sincere. The academics should be patriotic. Our dons have failed, expartriates should be brought to manage the system.
And they're not using the tetfund properly. Thank God for TSA because no more looting
