I use wamp before, I recently switched to xamp and have this challenge. I run iis server and xamp as well. I've changed the port of xamp to port 8080 and its working. My issue is that while trying to install joomla for my front end work, it usually gets stuck trying to create database tables. How can I fix this brotheres. Thnaks

is this your first attempt installing it with xampp or other attempts still gives same problem. also how long does it stay in loading process.

thanks, I've fixed it. I increased the execution time in the php.ini file and also made some changes to joom.sql in the installation directory of joomla
