Drinking before driving, carelessness ,mechanical faults,brake failure, over speeding cause accidents,let us stop this "they have started sucking blood mentality " Not all disasters are spiritual or have diabolical undertone. Most of them could be prevented but humans will be humans.
Quick recovery to the injured,and for the deceased, my condolences to your families and loved ones.

Is it religion that makes Nigerians so superstitious?

I have seen accidents worse & similar in developed countries with good roads, good lighting, cars checked periodically for road worthiness & properly trained drivers.

Our biggest problem is mental & orientation.

Far & wide no emergency services/ambulance, how will people survive?

See how they are manhandling that lady, when she should be kept still to avoid any possible spinal injury worsening, and those unconscious given CPR if applicable/possible. Is it witches that also caused all that?

We fail to do things right like other serious people do & we go superstitious. shocked

Quick recovery to the injured & RIP to the departed.

Since I've been travelling from lag-benin I ain't seen a mobile unit(ambulance) stationed @ strategic points.

What happens when an accident occurs? They're left to fate.

Only in Benin u see two car about colliding but the drivers were abreast to hit the brakes nd avert the collusion yet all the people in both cars die...

Thank God for the life of that salon car driver, his time is not up...

The notorious Lagos/Ibadan expressway is also located in Benin I guess.

I just posted same thing sef, we prolly thought along Same line & same time.

When I see stuffs like this the first question I ask is where are the emergency / rescue services?

I can bet no one there has called, even if they call it's prolly police they'd call, smh

Seriously we have useless leaders & worse still visionless heads of agencies...

Reckless driving,bad roads,over speeding and inpatience with some drivers are the major cause of accident in our roads.A driver sets out from lagos 6am in the morning and he is determined to get to onitsha by 10am,on death traps called roads in Nigeria.OVER SPEEDING KILLS. Better be late than to be LATE.

I still do not understand why Nigerian roads both the high ways/inter state roads and inner city roads in every state in Nigeria still do not have speed limits at this time and age?

Traveling by road from New York - Maryland is almost 4hrs drive despite it is a short distance simply because of the speed limits on the high ways and on every roads over here which you dare not exceed but if it was in Nigeria, Nigerian drivers will make that same trip in an hour and a half or 2 hrs which is only possible because of the drivers excessive brainless speeding without regulations thereby endangering the lives of everyone on that road.

The sad aspect of it all is that all these useless leaders in Nigeria that keeps gallivanting all over the world sees all these road signs such as speed limits on every roads including the ones we call street roads in Nigeria yet they will never replicate all these proactive measures once they get back to Nigeria.

How many more lives will have to be sacrificed on the alter of irresponsible leadership? What will it take for both the road safety and all stupid road management agencies in Nigeria to sponsor a bill to mount road signs such as speed limits and monitoring devices on every Nigerian roads that will capture the images and plate numbers of would-be defaulters?

Nigeria is so blessed with so many dull brains as leaders which is the reason why they cant even realize that the monetary fines paid by speed limit offenders will be a massive source of revenue for the government.

Once these regulations are enacted and enforced, there will certainly be a huge drop in vehicular accidents and loss of lives on those death traps called roads which occurs as a result of excessive speeding by most irresponsible drivers in Nigeria that are usually in a hurry for their selfish gains at the expense of the lives of both those in the cars they driving along with other road users.
