According to Spanish publication, Sport, Barcelona are considering the Chelsea man as one of their option ahead of next season.

The 25-year-old has emerged as a shock target for Barca after his sterling performance for Chelsea which has helped the London club to the top of the pile in the English Premier League.

Sport reports that Barcelona have watched Moses three times in his newly adopted right wing-back role at Chelsea and now believe that he is one of the men who could help them solve their defensive frailties on the right side of defence.

The report also claimed that Barca officials have been surprised with how Moses has adapted to his new wing back role with so much “depth.”

Moses has made 11 league appearances for Chelsea this season, scoring twice and weighing in with an assist.

He also has an 89 per cent tackle success rate, five blocked shots and 10 interceptions since he began playing as a wing-back. The Nigerian winger has a contract with Chelsea until 2019.

Meanwhile, the Nigerian international has been told focus on his football with Chelsea.

Conte wouldn’t be drawn on whether Chelsea would be ready to offer Moses a new deal to ward off interest, but he was emphatic about his desire for his players to not lose focus during their impressive six-match winning run.

“For everything [regarding contracts], there is the right time to speak,” Conte told a press conference at Cobham Training Centre. “About Victor, I repeat, it’s important to be focused on the present. It’s important to be focused game by game.

Victor Moses. I'm so happy for him. I've always believed in him, even when the going wasn't so good with him. A move to FCB is always a major upgrade for any footballer. However, I don't think moving to FC Barcelona now would be a smart decision. He's Barcelona-quality already, but I doubt if he'd further grow and develop there. He better stay put in Chelsea, keep impressing there and let Barca admire from afar!
