DIRECT SALES AGENT

Location: Lagos & Abuja

JOB SUMMARY

• Direct marketing role involving field sales and marketing, in which you will promote products, services and brands to an audience of both existing and potential customers.
• Essentially involved in increasing sales by raising the profile of the business, through targeted promotional marketing campaigns and strategies which may include but not limited to meeting with clients to discuss products and services, devising marketing ideas, making sure all property sales campaigns run smoothly.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Continuously maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers in person and via telephone calls and emails;
• Developing and recording new sales prospect base weekly;
• Negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing housing sales;
• Representing the organisation at trade exhibitions, product launch events and demonstrations;
• Advising customers on forthcoming product developments and discussing special promotions;
• Reviewing of personal sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets;
• Submission of periodic sales report to the Divisional Head.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of OND, HND or BSC qualification in Marketing or related field
• Technical Skills
• Appreciable awareness of Nigeria’s real estate market
• Be abreast of the real estate market trends in Nigeria
• Ability to build and nurture business relationships
• Ability to understand competitors and create winning marketing ideas
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft excel/word/PowerPoint.
• Previous experience in property sales job
• At least 2 years’ experience in marketing
• Ability to work some level of ambiguity
