It's great that you plan to be in church today, perhaps as usual, being Sunday.

But there are things you need to know:

As you plan to go to Church, the adversary of our soul, Satan, also plans to go!
As it is written :

Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord , and Satan came also among them.
Job 1:6 KJV

It may interest you to know that Satan does not care whether you go to Church or not; your activities in church; the department you belong; the size of your offering; etc.

What matters to Satan is that you don't come home with Salvation. He knows that salvation is the sure key to a secured today and a glorious future, and to even eternal life. He wants you to enter church as a sinner and still come back as a sinner!

Satan even wants you to report yourself to God as a sinner, in case God has forgotten. That's why you sometimes go out for altar call, and use your mouth to tell God that you are a sinner, but then you still continue in sin thereafter.

But you can break the vicious chain of sin today! You can determine to cry to God for total deliverance from sin today. You can determine not leave church until you have the assurance of salvation today. You can even determine to discuss your issue with the pastor for counseling today.

Remember, the only thing that differentiates the children of God from the children of Satan is sin.
1 John 3: 8-9.

The children of God do not practice sin! They don't live in sin again!

Therefore, as you go to church today, drop your load of sin at the feet of Jesus Christ our Saviour. Be determined to come home with Salvation, so that today will be the beginning of a new life in Christ.


Of what benefit is it, if you go to church as a sinner and come back as a sinner?
