I want to know if removing my charger while using my laptop helps my battery last longer than using it when connected to AC power and its fully charged.

I heard using ur battery when its fully charged and connected to AC power weakens the battery in the long run. Pls can someone give me a good advise on how best to utilize my battery?

@Poster - while using the computer the charger should remain plugged on AC. However, once in a while like (every 5 days), allow the laptop battery discharge fully while u r using it, when its like 5mins to fully discharge you recharge it again. it helps the life span of a battery. Remember its a re-chargable battery, it cant work maximum forever.

whenever the battary is 100% charged allow it to charged for more 30mins b4 you unplug it from ac power ie if u will like the stress of pluging and unpluging your lappy to ac after it discharge to 90% depending on how long you use ur laptop and how new the battery is.some new battery stay up to 3.30hrs b4 the discharge u need to charge them everyday until after 2months so that it will cycle well to last for 3hrs or more.
