Just this morning, I got news that a teenager was beaten blue-black for stealing food flask belonging to a student. When the boy was asked why he committed the crime, he said "I was hungry, I have not eating since yesterday". I remembered the government promised employment, free meal in schools and N5,000 to the less privileged in the county.
