2007 marked a turning point in history after an overwhelming mandate was given to a humble and visionary leader by the good people of Delta State. However, little did they know that the man they had chosen as their governor was ready to roll up his sleeves and literally get down to business.

His Excellency Dr. Emmanuel Eweta Udughan wasted no time in crystallising his vision for the State when he presented his SIMPLE but COMPREHENSIVE blueprint for the State which he christened the THREE POINT AGENDA –

• Peace and Security
• Human Capital Development
• Infrastructure Development

There have been tremendous progress recorded in just two years into the life of the Uduaghan Administration vis-à-vis the 3 point agenda in virtually all facets of life in the State. And while we do not intend to chronicle these achievements at this forum, there is no doubt in the minds of the people of Delta State.
From the creeks of Bomadi to the rich lands of Ozoro as well as the great valleys of Aniocha, the resounding verdict is unanimous; the administration has exceeded all expectations in the actualisation of the three point agenda.

However, there is still much more to be done.

The Youth Alliance for Uduaghan is a pressure group made up of youths who share the same destiny and diversity as symbolized by our State, encouraged by the giant strides of our visionary Governor and driven by his quest for peace, development and overall well being of all Deltans.
We are making a case for the consolidation of the gains of the 3 point agenda.

In the history of our very young State, this is the first time that a government is emerging with a blueprint and a deliberate plan to deliver the dividends of democracy to the people. Delta State is a unique State and requires the kind of leadership that is focused and determined.

We have that in our governor. He is laying a solid foundation for PEACE and DEVELOPMENT, the two most critical indices in the advancement of the human race.
Let us seize the opportunity and initiative. The time has come to build on the foundation. Let us move to the next level. Let us move to the level of consolidation. Let us pay tribute to a visionary leader and work with him as he leads Delta State to prosperity.
Let us join hand to return him in 2011, let us be part of YOUTH ALLIANCE FOR UDUAGHAN and let the consolidation begin.
