asp one star is an unconfirmed asp. Ie the one who has justbbeen promoted to the rank of asp from insp ector. Asp one star doesn't last long before he will be promoted to the rank of confirmed asp ie asp two stars. Comisioner of police at the force HQ is a comisioner who works in the police HQ with the IG of police. He may be there working as the police spoks man ie pro. He may be there also as the pokce oc mopol ie the one in charge of mobile police. On the other hand, comisioner in the state is the one who is in charge of all the police men in any state. He works with the governor. Asp one star is the least among them followed by asp two stars. Comisioner is comisioner irrespective of the arear of your work. The only difference is the influence and money.

u are welcome. A cadet APS is the one who joined police with a university degree say b.sc, b.a,or b.ed. ie u must go to police training with your university degree and spend about 9 months not too sure of the number of the month in the training now. Even if u pass out from the training , u will be given one star ie unconfirmed asp before u will be promoted to asp two stars.

The chap is in his mid 30s not early 40s. Besides, a CSO is different from a DPO though they may be on the same rank. A DPO heads a divisional police station while a CSO is attached to a public office holders. we have seen CSOs carry handbags for their oga's wives.

no some specialists with MBBS ie medical doctors are given three stars when they pass out from the police college as cadet. Even in the military a smilar thing is obtainded. If you enlist into the miitary with ur MBBS, b.Eng, ie specialists, u will pass out with two stars instead of one. Ie lieutenant instead of 2nd leutenant. Specilists are given special consideration.

First and foremost you have to spend 18months, 6 months basic training, 6 months intermediate training and a final 6 months for advance training to pass out as an ASP. On passing out you are confirmed as an ASP 1 with one star . after passing out you have to pass three assessment level after every 3 months from the officer you are attached to, in most case your DPO since most cadets are sent to busy division in the metro to quickly leran the police job. After obtaining your 3 assessment, you wait for the next Civil Service Confirmation Examination, upon passing the exam which consists of both police duties, law, and Civil service rules and civil service financial regulations. Once you have your pass, it wouldn't take you a max of 2yrs after passing out to hang your second star.

There are many negative stories behind this DPO. If you can ask any police man in Kano about Daniel DPO Bompai they will definitely link him with one thing : GAY.

For those who don't know, Bompai is the most lucrative division in Kano, a division that controls about 1000 factories, Supermarkets and Banks. And also 100% of all the Lebanese, Syrians, Europeans live in Bompai. This same guy was posted on attachment to bompai in 2005 when he was only an inspector with one bar. Went on to become the an IPO, then Inspector Crime , then DCO and to the surprise of everyone he was posted as DPO BOMPAI with 2 star and has since retained that seat ever since. Different Commissioner of Police have come and gone and all of them made attempt to replace him but to no avail.

Stories have it that the guy is a good fuucker that the Lebanese gay community in Kano will do everything to keep him on his seat. As per origin, the guy is from Plateau State.

As I said earlier on , all these are made hearsay, but any police man in Kano from whatever region you meet will attest to this story.
