Our client, a mechanized cashew-processing firm is currently looking for Admin/Account officer.

Reporting to: Chief Operating Officer

Job DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Documents financial transactions by entering account information.
• Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.
• Summarizes current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports.
• Recommends financial actions by analysing accounting options.
• Organize and maintain financial records
• Suggest ways to reduce costs, enhance revenues and improve profits
• Assist with preparation of the budget
• Establish and maintain supplier accounts
• Assist with the annual audit
• Oversees and facilitates resources management and administration procedures and documentation
• Serves as the primary point of administrative contact and liaison
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

• BSC/HND in Accounting and Finance and any related social science degree with a minimum of 2 years’ work experience.

ABILITITES/SKILLS:

• Interpersonal skill
• Financial and good communication skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Ability to gather data, compile information and prepare reports.
• Ability to analyse and solve problems.
• Organisation skills
