I hereby plead to your utmost attention towards the rise of unqualified office holders in our public system.

It is a pity for an autonomous country like Nigeria, comprising of diverse ethnic roots and religion to be handled by incompetent hands in top government positions. A nation under the claws of poverty and corruption will continue wallowing in despair and groaning in pain except congruent steps are being taken to halt this practice.

A country that wants to key to the suspense of a first world country must first cultivate the habit of using the hatchet to slash the throat of mediocrity. It is alarming for government officials to lead with O' level results, whereby our beloved country boast of competent professors both home and abroad. So called unqualified leaders whom are clueless of their service to the nation are to be considered terrorist, due to their speedy voracious effort in sinking the nation.

Our society needs to debunk the efficacy of mediocrity that has chamfered our dear country for ages and to rebuild the zeal of education, simultaneously with the unrelentless quest for patriotism.

Qualified civilians deserve to be given the opportunity to seat at the hem of affairs to lead, in order to meet global standards. A bill should be signed into law whereby INEC must dispose unqualified office holders and they must be barred from public office. As the sky is dimming to a burnt pot, I hope this won't fall on deaf ears, however, I pray we return to our drawing board and apply dexterity to learn from our mistakes.
God bless you and God bless the federal republic of Nigeria.
