Two weeks after accusing Nigeria Under-17 captain Fortune Chukwudi of being an age cheat, Adokiye Amiesimaka has released a picture said to have been taken in 2002 of the player with his Sharks feeder teammates that year.

In the photograph, Chukwudi is shown standing fourth from left and looking almost exactly the same as he looks now.

Standing third from right is Belema Fenibo, who went on to play for the Sharks first team until last season when he joined Ocean Boys.

Standing to Chukwudi's immediate left is James Peter, who played for the Sharks first team until two years ago and to his immediate left is Oyinkuro Sinclair, son of former Sharks and Super Eagles coach Monday Sinclair.

James Peter, who played for Sharks until two seasons ago, is the player to his immediate left.

Amiesimaka then went further to make the startling disclosure that the player could even be older than he originally alleged him to be.

"His colleagues and former school mates now say he may have even lied to me. That he was actually older than the 18 he told me in 2002."

If FIFA are serious, they will query this, but they'll probably hush it up cos we are the host nation. . .

I am sure Adokie lied as well about his age when he was playing for the national team.

Don't make alegations you can't back up. At least Adokie has shown us proof, where is yours?

For your information, back then players like Dokie, Henry Nwosu, etc started playing for the National team from Secondary school. They were picked up while playing in the then Principal's Cup. It was very difficult to falsify ages then. More importantly, I want to believe that Nigerians were more upright at that time. I am sure if any of them had falsified their ages, one of their teachers of not all of the teachers would have screamed blue murder. Unlike now when it seems we have sold our souls to deceit. All in the name of immediate glory.
