Former Special Assistant to Ex-President Goodluck Jonathan on Electronic Media, Reno Omokri has said that the data tariff hike earlier proposed by the Nigerian Communication Commission, NCC in collaboration with telecommunication companies operating in Nigeria which met a public outcry and which was subsequently suspended was a Federal Government plan of sourcing fund to pay the 200,000 N-Power graduate employees under its social intervention programme. Omokri who gave the statement, Friday, also said that the current government led by President Muhammadu Buhari has taken several contradictory actions which in the end points to its unpreparedness to salvage the country out of the biting recession ravaging it.

“The contradictions of Nigeria under this administration are quite pathetic. You have a state government that cannot trace the killers of the wife of an evangelist beheaded in broad day light in Kano even though the event was caught on camera, then you have another state government that is able to trace killers of hundreds of its own citizens to Cameroon and Niger and when they traced them-wait for it-they did not apprehend them.” “Instead, they offered them money not to kill again. No. this is not an excerpt from Steven King’s latest horror book. This is an excerpt of life in the new and improved Nigeria!” “And the contradictions continue to pour in. “On Monday the 5th of November, 2016, President Buhari complained about the demands that Nigerians were making on him and ended his lamentations by asking Nigerians not to make expensive demands from him.” “A president who built an expensive helipad for his personal use in Daura with taxpayers money now asks taxpayers not to make expensive demands! Indeed, #ChangeBeginsWithMe!” “If President Muhammadu Buhari knew the demands of the office were too much for him then why did he contest for the office four times?” “If I were to advice the President, I would tell him to choose his words carefully because his defensive words today may be offensive words tomorrow.” “And yet another contradiction is the ugly news from the NCC.

This guys comments are really intelligent and if APC finds him annoying they should simply sit-up and put their house in order. If PDP can put its house in order by 2019 it might not be a bad idea to change this unprepared govt just as American change ruling parties every now and then - even Gambia and Ghana are following suit. Let's start changing incompetent govts every four years - right from the time of Jonathan let's only give fed govt 4 years to perform or be booted out. If Buhari knew he strictly had only 4years to deliver and no second term, he wouldn't have wasted 6months of his tenure doing monkey business with choosing his ministers thereby leading us into recession. He would have hit the ground running.Everybody can see the serious work Trump is doing with regards to his prospective cabinet members. So when he takes over he won't have to blame Obama unlike our govt - seems this people want to use their 4years blaming Jonathan and achieving nothing.

I still don't get the correlation between data tariff hike and the monies to be paid as salaries for the N-Power program. Ayam not understanding this government again.

[b]Npower verification: Oyo State (Ibadan South West Local Government)

Npower verification for those that filled Ibadan South West Local Government Area is holding at Town Planning, which is around Mobil, Ring Road, that’s according to report from one of the applicants in that area.

Start: Saturday, December 10, 2016

End: Wednesday, December 13, 2016.

Please take along with you originals and the photocopies of your credentials.

Requirements for NPVN verification

Level
Certificate of origin
NYSC discharge certificate
Degree certificate

It’s confirmed that some corps members were assisting the officials on ground.

If you’re around that area, or you filled Ibadan South West Local Government during application, head straight to town planning area where the old secretariat is located
