KenJak:no free launch for any state. the loan is an agreement between federal govt and those states who will be beneficiary of it. the repayment is simple. deduction from source, federal allocation accruing to the beneficiary states. 2 Likes |

North East and most of this oil barren landlocked desert why are they getting more financial assistance than the rest of Nigeria, the fund will likely end up inside Alhaji's and hajia's foreign bank Acc while the poor almajiri will be left out with absolutely nothing... FG should boycott North east for now, put a stop for their rehabilitation till further notice, bcux we can't continue investing money in landlocked oil barren terrorist territory. let's use the fund meant for north east to develop other region should incase of mass movement of refugee from North, we need to put plans in place 4them , let's invest their fund down south because that region will forever remain hostile to investors 2 Likes |

Apshit is a cult not a political party The party led by the bokoharam president has no plans of moving the country forward They are only concerned with capturing power I ask myself what were these hopeless apshit leaders thinking when they come up with this dead on arrival ideaof mortgaging a country in the name of borrowing Have they bothered to ask themselves how they intend to pay back this hugh loans they are borrowing I wonder why some gullible fools elected this cult called party into power 2 Likes |

What a foolish move! I've never heard anything more useless than this in this administration. Sometime ago, FG gave out billions of dollars as bailout. Up to 2 or 3 times. Most of this money was squandered, salaries are still owed, recession is still waxing and yet they want to borrow more to give them. Instead of investing on capital projects, projects that will generate revenue... agriculture, soft loans, SME's etc they are spending money on dead ends. How can you rob Peter to pay Paul?? You borrow for us to provide for us then leave the debts for us. Who also sees the technical ineptitude of this government. 350$ for "development plan", 50$ for "drinking water and sanitation"? How can you use that much money for something so frivolous. Imagine a governor can't pay his salaries. He gets 90$ and all he does with that money is water and sanitation. Why not invest it in an international market or airport or university and then generate revenue from there to provide "water and sanitation ". USELESS AND WASTED GOVERNMENT!!! 2 Likes 1 Share |

Interesting We need information on the loan repayment package of this. Almost all the states in this country are in debt. This additional loan would make it astronomical. Nigeria's budget have never been in surplus, its always deficit. A country on budget deficit seeking a loan as mentioned, would for generations have challenges to repay it(loan). Life of many citizens would be affected for many years. United States have more than a trillion dollar deficit, but their currency is the world's determined trade currency. That is their advantage. Nigeria needs sincere beings in authority. States mentioned, those governors and godfathers would take(steal) a portion of the loan money, to secure their great great grand children's future(may be four generations). Their children moved outside the country. To those who thrive for a better future for themselves and their generation to come: be diligent, guard your heart, be joyful and you shall succeed. |

dullard's govt planning to borrow $29 billion for policy/institutional reform, health centers, drinking water, sanitation in some states dat produce notin is dis their economic infrastructural developement plan make dem kwantinew. my happiness is dat d 29 billion dollar loan will be d final bullet dat will bury nigeria. una remember OBJ's $16 billion dat was spend in d power sector without any meaningful achievement dat is EXACTLY how dis proposed $29 billion loan will end up - WASTE. unless nigeria is structured towards true federalism or confederacy/regionalism wia every state/region will be in charge of their resources n finance their own developmental projects, dis loan will end up wasted. nigeria's current structure (feeding bottle federalism) will NEVER lead to any major economic development even if d dullard borrows $200 billion. |
