The Kogi State Government has reaffirmed commitment to clear backlog of salaries of all genuine workers and pensioners in the state by December 20.

The State’s Director General, Research and Development, Moses Okafor, on Wednesday said screening exercise which hitherto had been causing delay in timely payment of salaries was completed last month.

Okafor, who is also the Official Speech-Writer of the State Governor, Yahaya Bello said, though the screening exercise was painful for a while but it has finally been completed.
