II- THE ROLE
• Assist to cross check on daily basis the Cargo Data Sheet (CDS) of each station according to the MVT sent.
• Assist to correct as it’s always required the MVT and the CDS.
• Assist to check and confirm the rate applied on each AWB per station as per the weight declared.
• Assist to supervise and control operational aspects of ASKY Cargo and Mail activities.
• Assist the Handling Agent during the cargo acceptance.
• Participate in cargo loading to ensure completeness of load and distribution of weight.
• Help to ensure the cargo documentation is ready on time for outgoing shipments.
• Assist and work closely with ground handling agent staff to guarantee the compliance with ASKY Cargo procedures and regulations.
• Assist to ensure that cargo operations are conducted in accordance with applicable regulations and standards of the air business and that security measures related to cargo operations are fulfilled.
• Participate in cargo offloading by ensuring a safe cargo handling.
• Assist the Handling Agent during the cargo reconciliation.
• Assist to retrieve stored items and trace lost shipments as necessary.
• Assist through collaboration with the Export officer, to ensure a smooth transfer of transit shipments.
III- QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE
• Educated to high school or ‘O’ level equivalent.
• Successful completion of Basic Cargo Course.
