The screen you have is dead!

Samsung S4 has the LCD+Touch then the glass applied on it... That's why the glass has no flex connection (it's just a plain glass)

After successfully detaching the glass from the LCD, the LCD should still touch fine because it has the touch directly on it. Now, it's impossible to change only the touch on the LCD! so the LCD is gone because it would only display but not respond to touch!

once the touch of a flagship Samsung is dead then forget about the screen...the screen and the touch is together! funny you grin
