[quote author=Bari22 post=52003367]even if Buhari will die today, he taught us one thing, #SELF_RELIANCE.

He just can't die because of biafrogs wailings they knowingly brought Nigeria on its knees by thier looting ways since the days of African Continental Bank they are yet to relent .

Meanwhile the Lagos government did well bringing the rice out while those wailing can go on wailing its thier tight to die wailing .

247frolicboss:
The Lagos State Government on Friday said it could not commence the sale of its Lake Rice on December 15 as earlier planned to ensure that plots to hijack the project was averted.

The Special Adviser on Food Security to Governor Akinwumi Ambode, Mr. Sanni Okanlawan, said that the rice would now be on sale from next week

The government had planned to sell the rice at N13,000 per 50kg bag at the 57 Local Government and Local Council Development area headquarters from Dec. 15.

Okanlawon said the government was installing mechanisms for Lagosians to celebrate the best Yuletide without hiccups posed by money bags.

He said, “We are working out the modalities to make sure that what the government intends to sell at N13,000 was not hijacked and sold to Lagosians at N15,000, that is what we do not want.

“From all indications, hopefully, by next week Lake Rice will be out, so, we want everything to be in place before it is out.”

i hope greedy officials wont black-market it.

Recession is a blessing that most nigerians dont want.
See eh, we are only complaining of recession because we all ran away from villages and came to city to survive. If you have a farm in your village and can survive on your own rice/beans, you will be laughing now.

All these political English sef!! Modalities??. Can you just sell the stoned palliative rice already and get it over it?

13000 is still a far cry from 9000 last year before Babu spoit the country! Don't think you are doing anybody a favour, and from all indications, it is not that the sale going to last anyways.

We are going back to inflated price after they exhaust the temporary rice! Why the fuss?

True talk cool

Lake rice u would find in retail shops, gov is looking for a reliable channel to distribute this rice, release it to d public just like that and see if it will not be hijacked by these big shots who only think of themselves. They would buy it in bulk and sell it mayb for 16k to retailers, dem d greedy retailers would now sell it for 18k..... Then the most greedy ones would even go as far as rebagging it with a foreign bag and selling it for 23k.

This how Nigerians behave and it's Xmas period
