if you read my earlier post, I said people can be moral if they choose to and are not weak to themselves with or without God. But I agree with you that if there is no law of the country, some christians will still practice christianity.

And I agree with your view too, because I know some people who are not Christians and do not attend any church, yet they are morally upright. That's from first-hand experience.

I am not lying, what will I gain by pretending? If I say I am an atheist, will anyone kill me? So what's the point? I became a christian as I was born into a christian home. As I have matured, I have suspicions and doubts in this christianity of a thing.

God is the overal ruler of the earth, so earthly rulers watch over us in delegated authority. God is orderly, and laws are part of that order. When you look at laws, they are extrapolated from the law of " love your neighbours as you love yourself". So I obey laws because they are obedience to God.

the Holy Spirit can give you the power to be Holy. But does the Holy Spirit not live christians? The most important thing is decision and resolution not to engage in sin my dear. Pornography addiction and all forms of sexual immorality, drug addiction, alcohol addiction and so on are likely not to be prevented by mere instructions not to indulge in them except if the person is not just used to them or doesn't have it as a weakness or have just decided to stay away from them for whatever reason.

These things are prevented when people are fully aware of the consequences of these things and the full extent to which these things exert damage. If you know all these things, you will stay away from them even if you have them as a weakness knowing fully well that it is not worth it. People who engage in such don't know and they think it is something they can use to enjoy themselves and stop when they want to only to be destroyed and hooked after.

People who have been ruined by these things include christians and non-christians. Did those christians not have the Holy Spirit? This shows that morality is mainly by decision or life experiences and some other factors. Cristiano ronaldo doesn't take alcohol because or what alcohol did to his father. Does he have Holy Spirit? A man refused to be sexual immoral because of how his father was ruined by last. Did that take the Holy Spirit?
