the budget was padded with the active connivance of the presidency, so how can they be disciplined? it is only clowns & paid hacks that tried shifting the whole blame of the budget padding scandal to the NASS (those thieves padded their own budget allocation). PMB keeps painting the heads of other arms of government in bad light while ignoring the fact that he leads a regime that is a cesspool of all forms of corruption... from stealing to nepotism... 12 Likes 5 Shares |

This Country and its ruling class is nothing but a joke. The same level of corruption that bedeviled GEJ's administration, has found it way into Mr Integrity PMB's anti corruption administration. Yet the hopeless generation of this country, will come out everyday to sing the praises of these indomitable rogues 1 Like 1 Share |

Because the civil servants had nothing to do with it. They were merely used as pawns to cover the tracks of politicians who carried out the act, otherwise they would have been in jail and not in new offices. 1 Like |

I repeat, it wasn't those guys that padded the budget. It was Buhari. And Buhari knows this. He can't fire them cos they were doing his bidding. And if he does, he'll have to find other people to pad for him. Now he has placed them right inside the cookie jar. APC is a scam! 2 Likes 1 Share |

I laugh all the time at those who carried the so called war against corruption mantra on their pitiful, diseased heads. They refused to think, read and reason. I laugh, not because I condone corruption but because of the antecedents of the one they thought would do the fighting. People like doctokwus that insist that GEJ/PDP was too corrupt to continue in office and touted #CHANGE like pure water will swallow their words soon. If truly, Mr Daftus and his cronies were not active beneficiaries of a padded budget that was still passed into law, why weren't the officials claimed to have done the dirty job immediately prosecuted and dismissed? Rather it was l hushed up, they fed stories to d gullible as to how they'd been redeployed (as if that is punishment enough for the nature of their alleged offences) and today we see they're back to an even more sensitive office with no punitive measures against them. Now this is what we are told particularly the bolded parts: Imrana said, “It is the job of Employee Mobility to move people, unless you have established that these people have been wrongly moved or something. I don’t know what the news is about. Have you been able to establish that these were the people that were involved in budget padding? Nigerians were played as usual. The implication of this is that there was never any formal investigation and indictment, just some news to pacify the gullible zombies who even started planning to march for the #IStandWithBuhari nonsense until reality intervened. Will they learn? No! They will rather demonise the one that tried to give them some sense of freedom and knowledge of the power of the citizen. No problems, the Dictator they cheerfully swept in will reset them to default slavish mode soon.... 3 Likes 1 Share |
