For the second game running in a space of 5 days Arsene Wenger's side (Arsenal) lost 2-1 in the EPL at the hands of Everton and Manchester City. Wenger blamed the ref's decision for Everton's winner and also blamed the ref's decision for Arsenal's woe against Manchester City. Arsene Wenger has this to say after the match: '' Of course I 'm disappionted and frustrated. ''We had a very good first half. We were caught cold. Today we conceded two offside goals.It's difficult to accept. I believe there's alot going on [regarding 'bad' refereeing decisions] It's hard going into a game like that and you get decisions going against you. They are professional and we are professional and have to stand up for our mistakes. ''They first goal gave them alot of hope. After that we suffered for 20 to 25 mins. On Tuesday [in the 2-1 defeat against Everton]. We suffered on set-pieces. Today we were unfortunate. What can you do about the offside goals. ''we were a bit jaded physically. We played four game from five away from home''. Wenger was speaking to bbc sport. |
