Senegal emerged champions of the 8th Edition of AFCON Beach soccer for the fourth time after beating Sand Eagles of Nigeria 8-4 in the final of the 2016 Copa Lagos. Remember this is the second time the Senegalese will beat Nigeria in the final, the first was in Morocco when Nigeria lost 7-4.
Senegal and two time African champions Nigeria will now represent the continent at the 2017.

That's NOT the Copa Lagos. That's the African Beach Soccer Nations Cup. Copa Lagos ended weeks ago. They are two separate tournaments.
