Rockstar vice president Dan Houser told the British Times and ending up in an article at PC Games, have confirmed a few important pieces of information. First of all, Houser says the team has indeed started development on Grand Theft Auto V and while that may seem trivial, this is the first time any Rockstar employee has ever officially referred to the project (as far as we can remember). Not that it's any big surprise, but we just wanted to clarify. Secondly, while they won't reveal the name of the city - the big rumor is that we're all returning to Vice City - Houser did mention the story's massive script: it's over 1,000 pages in length. Now, we've seen that big number associated with a game script before, and it was for Quantic Dream's Heavy Rain. With the latter project, however, there must be literally hundreds of branching storylines that must be in place depending on player decisions and choices. GTA is usually a linear story so 1,000 pages means something very different, I think, it means we're should get the longest and most detailed GTA story yet.
