Nintendo Forays Into Mobile Gaming – Launches Super Mario Run by Nobody: 4:32pm On Dec 20, 2016
Back in the nineties (90s) Super Mario was the game of the moment before the advent of Sony’s Playstation. I would go to my friend’s house and play the Super Mario game on a console by SEGA from morning till night, this was all we cared about in the world. Kids born in 2000s would probably not know this was the hottest game back then.

Nintendo are bringing back the glory days by bring the Super Mario Run game on mobile, it was launched for iOS this week’s Thursday and it is expected to reach Android devices next year January. Nintendo is making the game free up to some levels but you would have to buy at 9.99 US dollars to have the game fully. In order to combat piracy, Nintendo said the Super Mario Run would require internet access to be played so gamers are expected to have a sizeable amount of data and a fast internet connection.

According to a statement on Mashable, Nintendo’s Shigeru Miyamoto stated “For us, we view our software as being a very important asset for us. And also for consumers who are purchasing the game, we want to make sure that we're able to offer it to them in a way that the software is secure, and that they're able to play it in a stable environment.”

When quizzed further by Mashable as to the issue of piracy, Shigeru stated “That’s correct. Unlike our dedicated game devices, the game is not releasing in a limited number of countries. We're launching in 150 countries and each of those countries has different network environments and things like that. So it was important for us to be able to have it secure for all users.”

There you go! If you think the game is too expensive at 9.99$ you might want to at least play to some level for free. I would definitely be trying the Super Mario Run when it comes to Android early next year.
