Leading with very slow and annoying service in my area.

Ported my 0806 to glo as soon as I had the chance, mainly for calls.
Call rate's good... I don't check my balance anymore
Airtel was my data line while my accumulated GBam came in handy when my Airtel data is exhausted... It was torture trying to browse with glo...
However, when I relocated to a new area, glo was blazing fast. They now increased data allowance, now glo is both data and call network for me. And unlike Airtel it doesn't zap data at twice the rate. I do hours of mobdro daily, streaming seamlessly without buffering. I tried it with my Airtel and my data ran out in a few hours.

I think it's a matter of location, thankfully it's great at 80% of the places i frequent (work, home, regular hangouts)
Pick what works for you but if you are a heavy consumer like me you really need to find out if it's good in your area because glo is unrivalled in data allowance and consumption.

Glo is cheaper but you just can't browse with it. Mtcheew

Glo is simply the best for me, downloads @ about 350kb/s during the day. Airtel's marketing strategy is to give less than it promises to customers. Mtn is just too expensive..... I don't know what etisalat is though, my friends say it's a type of car...... On startpark plan mtn's call is great & I'm loving it

The Glo network is slow eh! I regret buying the sim eh! Just that it's the cheapest now so make them for Glo world celebrate the numbers they have now. Mscheww! Iranuu with plenty celeb ambassadors,the monies spent on celeb ambassadors could be channeled into improving the network and improving their customer service delivery to subscribers, because I know how many hours I sat at the ghlo world office just to buy and register a glo sim. But their network sucks at times

injured snail is faster than Glo network. glo internet speed here in Benin City, okhoro to be precise is too poor. I nearly cry when I subscribed to thier 3.2gig for one thousand naira. what is the essence of. giving us cheap data when we cannot access internet with it.
I quickly inserted my airtel sim and subscribe for 1.5gigg for one thousand naira. that is what am using now and I will never go back to Glo until they improve on their slow internet
airtel calls are cheap. 11k/s. that is 7 naira per minute starting from the very first minute with no daily access fee.
if glo should continue with this slow internet nonsense then they will lose their subscribers to airtel. I pity them

My major concern about Glo is :don't they read about subscriber's complaints? The speed of their data is a far cry from what they advertise on TV.

Glo please give all your cell stations parity, we want equal speeds. Glo be deploying EDGE GPRS and calling it 3G.
