Dubai has a small population.
It has little or no oil . Its wealth is mainly from Tourism, finance, entertainment , real estate etc
Oil contribute about 2% of its GDP.
What can Nigeria learn from Dubai
1. We need to control our population growth. This is one area we have neglected so much . At an annual budget of 6 trillion ( 20bn USD )this means the Nigerian govt will spend only 40,000 Naira on each Nigeria . This is grossly inadequate and account for why the citizens are poor .
2. Encourage or develop our youth potential on other areas such as sport, entertainment, technical skills
What do you think ?
