The government - who makes up the government, and the government from where? from 1960 - date or which in particular?

The people - including you and me and everyone else? or which in particular?

The country - okay, the country as an entity is made up of who and who?

The individual - the one who breaks every rule possible? Who pays no tax and has no civic responsibility?

I dont know realy whose feet you put the blame on, please explain to us o.

Nigeria problem is individual problem not Government as all these people you see in government today are once a student like you, worker, jobs seeker, business owner, lecturer etc before they found themselves in government.
The problem start from our individual mind set.

I blame you Walakolobo, whose psyche had been seriously damaged by your corrupt polititians;  your fraudulent religious leaders; your unscropoulus businessmen; your shameless traditional rulers; your immoral lecturers and professors; your clueless and ignorant law enforcement officers; and above all, your kangaroo judges. So you see how people like you have been tuned to follow - follow without complain and think your reward is in heaven. Keep on Shuffering and shmilling Walakolobo.

@walakolobo

I think there is evidence of fatigue in your system. You have been making a lot
of posts in the past few days. I suggest you should take a break from Nairaland.
You are gasping for breath and seem to be loosing your concentration. You may try
la-la land for a change.

I t is just free advice. I suggest you read Jaybee,s submission again on your way out.

ANSWER:

ITS A COUNTRY OF A COLLECTIVE CORRUPT SOULS BLAMING ONE ANOTHER INSTEAD OF WORKING HARD IN IMPROVING THEMSELVES. IT A COUNTRY OF PEOPLE LOST IN DELUSION BECAUSE THEY ALWAYS LUST FOR LIES. ITS A CUTURE OF MONEY MONEY MONEY. REALLY................

ITS THE DEMOCRATIC ERA

And In this situation of despirate need for life. Politics makes the people laugh and not cry over important ISSUES. Jokes are made out of fundamental problems that need urgent attention. For example, "THERE IS GOD O!" . it became a laughing issue, a viral all over the internet without pity for those who have been abducted and their parents whose children have suddenly dispeared.

its a country of INSENSITIVE PEOPLE.

As for CORRUPTION, the book INCORRUPTIBLE JUDGE tell you that its an inherited disease so long ago. because the book was published as far back as 1961 a year Nigeria got her independence. meaning Corruption has been part and parcel of Nigeria even before INDEPENDENCE.

Democracy is a very corrupt system hence it has enhanced the corrupt culture in Nigeria.

what it does is NOTHING but make people abuse one another instead of working together to solve a common problems.

WHERE IS THE CIVILIZATION IN THE 21st CENTURY?

When you look across the globe it is SORROW, TEARS AND BLOOD and its all POLITICAL.

Its all lust for POWER and not JUSTICE and TRUTH.

In a diseased country such as Nigeria of hibitual CORRUPT souls.

Instead of people working hard to being a better indiviual by embracing SINCERITY and INTEGRITY.

Without doubt, their LAZINESS and FOOLISHNESS not to realize that its only when you can change yourself for good that others can see good in you and emulate. THEY ARE FULL OF ARROGANCE AND STUPIDITY.

The only DIVIDEND of Democracy is that it allows people to talk and talk and talk within a spectrum of HELPLESSNESS.

Public opinions does not equate to government Policies. The government will most assuredly do what the intend to doing.

They have given you the leverage to only exhibit your thought in a way that they don't turn into actions.

DEMOCRACY IS NOTHING BUT A DELUSION.

HOW IS NIGERIA BEEN SINCE 1999. IF NOT SORROW, TEARS AND BLOOD. HOW WAS NIGERIA BEFORE THEN

Yawnnnn..... Nigeria is a developing nation, like 85% of the countries on earth are.

It is not ''bad'' to be a developing nation. The advanced countries you see today were once developing nations with the very same teething problems we currently face - inefficiency, corruption, poverty, inequality, you name it. Op, if you want to go and live in London or Berlin, fine, but please don't come in here looking to depress people.

Look, if you'd visited China 30 or 40 years ago, you'd never believe that that place would one day become the world's economic colossus and manufacturing/financial juggernaut. This is a place where to own a bicycle was a sign of affluence. Where illiteracy and deprivation were the order of the day. So, nothing ever stays the same. Even the Nigeria of today is far more developed than the Nigeria of the 1970s and 80s. So there's no reason we should not be ahead in the next few decades as well.
