it's a case of Dog eat Dog though , i hope that petrol station or the manager is dealt with and of course the over zealous officer , but of course the person who called police probably said the guy was an armed robber

The Police Officer shot someone that was escaping the scene where he committed a criminal act of assault.

Phone is now very expensive.


It is too late for him to discover life is much more expensive.

Today made it exactly one year after the on that happened in Ketu Lagos and now another is happening. Nigerian Police is simply cursed

This is a case of ego between the two men, the policeman felt belittled by the dead man who was trying to flaunt his wealth as a Malaysian returnee, the late man harassed the pump attendant because she refused to clean the sale on the counter and start afresh, angered by his action he ordered the man to apologise to the pump attendant which he refused, an argument ensued between them leading to the policeman to fire him. It's only a fool that argues with an angry man bearing fire arms. The filling station was almost set ablaze by irate youths, if not for the timely intervention of law enforcement agencies.

Nigeria which way. Why must a policeman be carrying guns with live ammunitions. This is as a result of failed state. I have been to Ghana and some other countries and you hardly see a policeman carrying guns or intimidating you with rifles. Can't these leaders see through their nose assuming their eyes and brains are not working and copy how to do effective policing without killing her citizens. Such a pity.

the manager and the police man need to be murder as for me.the simple way is to shot them because let others learnt from people's blooper

Two things killed this guy,
1) ANGER) no matter what the attendant might have done,he shouldn't have resort to slapping. I can't be a boss and watch u mess up my worker,kolewerk! He should have reported the attendant to his/her superior.

2) STUBBORNESS= (let's go I will buy u another phone). He who the devil wants to punish,he first hardened his heart. We should be very careful in these perilous period and time. The devil our enemy is looking for whom to devour.
Patience and meekness if applied could have saved his live.

But why did he slap the pump attendant.
The manager must have tried to discipline that act to avoid a repeated occurrence. You can't totally blame him. I will feel bad too if someone assaults my worker.
A simple apology after his previous outburst would have calmed issue but a lot of people are so proud they can never say sorry.
To be frank everyone is at fault, the one who slapped, the one who was slapped, the officer. But the least blame should go to the manager.
Violence doesn't pay, learn to manage your emotions.

This story does not add up at all.

I heard the guy just returned from Malaysia the same day , he took Airport taxi to where he bought the car, according to a source his car was loaded with 8big luggage's, he drove to NNPC station to top fuel when he has altercation with the station manager, when the guy wanted to leave she ordered the happy trigger police man to shoot him... I also heard the woman's husband is in jail for killing someone.... Rip Mr Eto

See how cheap life is in naija!!!!! Sometimes when someone steps on you and you quietly walk away people say you are weak, not knowing the problems you just avoided. In naija you will just die for nothing and nothing will happen!!! Its not as if the policeman will be hanged in the view of the public, may be a sentence , in most cases non, isn't it better to behave well in public places sometimes, ?

An armed policeman can easily shoot anyone as he likes. The usual defence is 'after a gun battle' or he tried to disarm me. We no longer hear 'accidental discharge'. Though Police job is daunting, the fact remains that most policemen didn't qualify for recruitment in the first place. Again they are inadequately trained especially in arms handling. This is in addition to their physical unfitness. A physically fit officer will handle a challenger and his gun will be last resort.
Many are mentally unfit from alcohol & drug abuse.
Before a crowd a policeman corked his gun and pointed it at a bus driver and we pleaded with him not to shoot. It is an arms offence to point even an unloaded gun at somebody who is unarmed except he is facing a firing a squad. Not with our NPF. RIP to the dead.
