Did you root it before or after you upgrade to lollipop?
This could be as a result of corrupted data, or these apps you download are from third party app.
Rooting might not be the issue Samsung device develops this kind of problem after an upgrade, You can flash its firmware to its original version

Stop encouraging people to damage their phones. Use ur phone the way u bought it. The whites who manufactured it know better than u do. Wat else are u looking for in a phone? Wen u spoil ur fone it will be useless and of no use. Don't u know that?
