In the bible, we were made to understand that the devil deceived eve by telling her that she and her husband will become just like God, knowing the difference between good and bad if the disobey God and eat from the forbidding fruit. But God himself confirmed in the account of genesis 3:19-25 that the devil didn't deceive eve but instead, he said the truth. In that same account, it was obvious that God's original plan was never for us to leave forever, contrary to what we were made to believe. There were two trees in the garden of Eden, one was the tree of life and the other was the tree of the knowledge of good and bad. Eve only ate from the tree of knowledge and what the devil said actually came to pass "they were now like God, knowing the difference between good and bad" In genesis 3:22-27, God was angry that they were now like him, so in other for them not to also eat out of the tree of life and live forever, hr sent them out of the garden to suffer- confirming what the devil said was the reason for their being banned from the tree..............that God never wanted them to be like him. The devil was right! He did not deceive man, but instead, he told them the truth according to the christian bible. |

Well, I won't agree on the part God never wanted us to leave for life but instead, will say that God wanted Adam and Eve to choose for themselves. God was not angry because they became like him, yes, dere eyes became open knowing good n bad n dats because they were made perfect only to know Good. but being like God would mean they now became spirits which they never became. rather they lost the paradise earth as well as dier perfection. God was angry with them cos dey disobeyed him. |
