back beating hail

You see mirages of safety, your heart beats

A ray of hope shines

Alas, where was that sun?
I abadoned my ice cube for a glacier

Someone should have warned me
that bigger blocks of ice glistens more
Fooling even the most attentive presence


Inhales a deep breath, such an icy chill
my breath a cloud against the darkness

my arms, loosing themselves to the chills
