Pls Nairalanders, how good is car with 202, 000 miles for use in Nigeria. It is a 2001 model car. A toyota avalon to be precise. Waiting for ur candid responses,

Toyotas are known for there great performances.
There are rides with low mileages but with poor maintenance, they will disappoint you in no time compared to a high mileage with good maintenance by the previous owners.
I will look into the owner`s history and make a decision based on that and not the mileage.
Also a 2001 ride means it is almost 9 years old, cos it was made in 2000 really and rolled our mid to late 2000.
The avg mileage driven in America could be 20K miles and that makes it to be in the range of 180K miles, so 20K over that will not be too much away and these could be highway mileage.
BTW 200K miles in america is better than 20K driven on the jungle roads in Nigeria . . . . .NIja for life.

202k mileage is 2much.my rover was bought in 2007 at 126k&now its abt 146k.which is about 10k per annum.it must have being used anyhow a car of 2001? Wel if u can change d engine,do bodywok&suspension=50k mileage
