A Pharmaceutical firm with chains of retail stores in different locations in Nigeria requires qualified candidates to fill the following positions

3) JOB TITLE: INVENTORY OFFICER

LOCATION: LAGOS – (precisely Magodo Phase II)

RESPONSIBILITIES:
 Optimize inventory control procedures
 Inspect the levels of drug/product supplies to identify shortages
 Ensure product stock is adequate for all distribution channels and can cover direct demand from customers
 Record daily deliveries and shipments to reconcile inventory
 Use software to monitor demand and document characteristics of inventory
 Place orders to replenish stock avoiding stock-out
 Analyze data to anticipate future needs
 Evaluate suppliers to achieve cost-effective deals and maintain trust relationships
 Collaborate with warehouse employees and other staff to ensure business goals are met
 Report to top management on stock levels, issues etc.
 Avoid over/under stocking of products. Achieve optimal stock levels based on sales trends.

QUALIFICATION AND REQUIREMENTS
 Possession of B.Sc or HND in any of the following: Accounting, Economics, Banking and Finance, Business Administration or any other related discipline
 Problem solving skills
 Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and the ability to use simple software
 Good interpersonal relations and communications skills
 Energetic with ability to work with little or no supervision.
