We are being advised daily to think positively. That it is the pathway to achievement and success. that we should efface negative thought from our mind if we are to live successful and fruitful lives. That negative thought (e.g worry, hatred and fear) will never make for successful living. That it is only positive thought (e.g love, courage and optimism) will help us achieve our desires.
However, no matter how positive in our thinking we are, without taking action towards the achievement of our desired goals, we can never achieve success. Action more than positive thought is the food and drink that will nourish our success. action alone is the tinder which ignites the map, our dreams, our goals, and our plans into a living force. It is action that determines our value in the world and to multiply our value in the world we must multiply our actions. When the lion is hungry it eats. When the eagle is thirsty it drinks. If both do not act they will perish. Our mind, skill, heart and body will stagnate, rot and die unless we put them to good use.
We can therefore think all the positive thoughts in the world, without taking action to achieve our set goals we cannot achieve any success.
