To answer your question if its ok you use for UBER the answer is YES.

The twist however comes in other factors to consider, which are;

1. Driver: this have been major issues for partners unless of cause you're driving it for yourself and you're a careful driver. Most drivers would reck your car if given the opportunity so you must devote your time to getting someone who will treat the car as if it were his own.

2. Car maintenance/miscellaneous: No car is problematic, except you don't take good care of it. VW is a German products, those that own one like you know parts are not cheap even for a Toyota/Honda considering our exchange rate. Extra care and devotion must be taken to fix anything before it escalates.

Other things are fuel consumption,regular inspection and service with specified grade of oil.

I used to have one, and the problems were basically two: fuel pump issues (i.e. had to replace this unit like every 4 months or so), and the second problem was the shock absorbers. Also had to get these changed frequently.
