Michael Owen has sent parts of Twitter into a
furious frenzy on Saturday with a joking dig at
legendary striker Ronaldo's weight on the
social media platform.
Owen was at the Santiago Bernabeu as a
Ballon d'Or winner as part of the public
awarding of Cristiano Ronaldo's trophy that
he won last month.

Ronaldo and Owen played for the same Real
Madrid team for a short spell and the ex-
England international couldn't resist a quick
joke at the Brazilian's expense.

comment and what followed was a series of
angry reactions criticising Owen's character,
career and charisma!
