Following the antecedents of Dr Babatunde Ipaye, a man who was not born with a silver spoon in his mouth, no one would have expected him to involve in such an inhuman act as that of today. His father, the Late Pa Ipaye returned to ijebu igbo in the early 80s after being unable to find greener pastures in his former place. He ventured into second hand clothes sales as a means of earning himself a living.

Dr Babatunde Ipaye who was a former staff of Dr Akindele the founder of Victory Specialist hospital in Ijebu Igbo, angrily resigned from work due to his arrogance and unrepentant attitude. He foolishly went ahead to establish his own local hospital at one Oke Agbo area of Ijebu Igbo, which did not even last long because of the high records of dead patients due to his incompetence. As if that wasn't enough, he later relocated to igbaire, Ijebu Igbo and named his hospital Idunnu Maternity Home, which is also now dead. What do you expect from a man who has been unlucky and unfortunate in his profession ?? Just as he was inaugurated as the Commissioner of health, he began to lock all mini maternity homes in the town except the ones belonging to his friends.

His hatred for Ijebu Igbo can be traced back to 2015 when he was in a very hot and bloody contest with Honourable Tokunbo Oshin for the ticket of Member, House of Representatives (Ijebu North, Ijebu East and Ogun waterside federal constituency), which he later preferably conceded to a man from Ijebu East instead of Hon Tokunbo Oshin, a man from Ijebu North, Ijebu Igbo to be precise. Today, he was at business as usual, hatred for ijebu igbo as he led a team of thugs to demolish Ijebu Igbo primary health care centre, which was under renovation by the Senator representing Ogun East Senatorial District, Senator Prince Buruji Kashamu on the ground that his ministry was not duly informed. I weep for my hometown ! Another hope dashed. This is the type of cruelty we have been going through since Ipaye became an accidental health commissioner in Ogun State.


Finally, just like I have advised him via my facebook page, he should thread softly and remember that political posts lasts for just a while. He should stop his incessant attack on Ijebu Igbo. Senator Prince Buruji Kashamu has come to save people of his hometown from the shackles of the oppressor, including Ipaye. I also use medium to appeal to SPBK, who was renovating the health centre as part of his constituency projects to leave Ipaye with his madness and see him as a mere attention seeker.
