Singer Mr Eazi has incurred the wrath of Nigerians on social media after the 'Sample You' crooner tweeted, 'Ghana's influence on present day "Naija Sound" cannot be over-emphasized'

The tweet has not gone down so well with many Nigerians on Twitter.

Some say, Mr Eazi was singing in Ghana for years, just one-year his song crossed the border and came to Nigeria, he blew.

He's so much in a hurry to get back to the trenches he came out from.
Like his name says, it's so EAZI to slip down the ladder in Naija.
Someone give this boy May-D's number please!

This guy's career is going down soon. Not a prophet of doom but it's crystal clear. He's not even as good as he thinks. With that his burnt dark face and lips. Ugly fool

Someone needs to remind this guy that this is not the first time we're dancing to Ghana inspired songs.

We dance for a few months and we're on to the next in no time.......it was South African inspired songs that was the rave not too long ago.

And what's wrong with this guy? He's half Ghanian, and his name is Oluwatosin but he's kinda coy about embracing his Nigerian roots.

Na Uni him go do for Ghana wey him start to dey act up......like those fake peeps that travel out and start forming USA or UK.

ask Fella, how Ghanaian music shaped his music and enriched it . Ghanaian music has been shaping Nigerian music since the 1900s, even though it stopped at some point in time
