I'd still stick with Nissan. Their vehicles are as rugged and technologically advanced as the European cars.

European cars all the way. Especially, the German cars. Ruggedness, durability and their speed. Though, the cost of purchasing and maintenance is higher to the Asian cars, but they are good value for your money. Asian cars are good too, because if not for them, using cars will be too dare for middle class and poor man in Nigeria. Thank God for the likes of Toyota, Honda, Nissan and KIA.

Everybody just dey shout say European cars all the way I just wonder whether they know what they're saying for I know that Asian cars are as durable as European cars and most are even cheaper to maintain. Do you realize that Lexus is an Asian car?

I really don't see the debate here, most European cars cost more and give more headache to maintain while some of the Asian counterparts cost lesser both in maintenance and purchase.

Golf 3. It could be replaced but it keeps reoccurring. Every other thing about the car is okay.

There is a rubber under the tyre called shaft rubber. The rubber cuts all the time. I was forced to buy many. What the rubber covers (shaft, i guess) shouldn't be exposed to dirts. Dirts like dusts, mud especially if you live in site. Mud enters the shaft and make it to give some bad sound from the tyre. You will not be able to fully turn the steering.

It's a major issue with V3. Note: i have used golf 3 and VW Vento. Very peculiar to both cars.

well I was considering practicability of the cars in Nigeria.

for example my local Benz Mech has about 45 cars stranded in his workshop. Toyota shops don't strand cars like that.....

BMW is another evil not to mention Volvo...

Volvo doesn't crack.

It all boils down to personal preferences, I'm all for benz but Asia is changing the game and also forcing Europe to seat up. The best v6 ever was built Asia, the maiden acura NSx forced almighty Ferrari to seat up, the fx35 was the first crossover vehicle.
