Borno State Governor Kashim Shettima was pictured driving himself and friends around when the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) for sustaining its humanitarian support towards rehabilitation of Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in the North East paid a visit to Borno state.

Shettima commended the UNFPA when the Executive Director, Dr. Babatunde Osotimehin, accompanied by other staff of the UNFPA, the Minister of Women Affairs and Social Development, Sen. Aisha Alhassan, and Prof. Umaru Shehu visited him at the Government House, Maiduguri as he also solicited for more support in the area of girl child education in the State.
