A married man with 2 children (age 4and 2) is earning 180,000 while the wife is selling beads.

Can they really do well and fulfill their goals?

Why not? That amount is even luxury to a lot of Nigerian families. My parents earned far less and we are all graduates now and working.

Your comparison is faulty.
Your parents time cannot be compared with the present day Nigeria.

That amount is very OK but the truth of the matter is that, as a married man, depending on monthly take home pay isn't a good practice. What happens if they weren't paid for some months? Back to the question, it is more than OK

Depending on salary alone is risky. That's why a side hustle is encourage. Many civil servants with families are paid les than 50k. Taste and planning can make a lot of difference
