Davido and international super star, Akon are already in Gabon! They are both reportedly billed to perform at the official opening ceremony and fanfare on January 14th, this Saturday. The first match of the tournament is also expected to follow immediately. On arrival yesterday, both artistes were welcomed personally by the President of Gabon, Ali Bongo Ondimba. Davido and Akon have an established close working relationship with Akon having featured on a number of Davido's songs and one of Davido's co-label mates, B-red. See pictures of their arrival below.
