JOB DESCRIPTION: SENIOR PROCUREMENT OFFICER (SPO)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Expediting and follow-up on all enquiries received from NLNG Checking for Model Number, part numbers, Currencies deviations and correct delivery time.
- Preparing Quotations using the new Incoterms and ensuring that the best price is given to clients.
- Evaluating the supplier cost to ensure best price are sent to clients.
- Follow-up on quotation submitted.
- Follow-up on contract submitted.
- To ensure that all order received from clients are checked for deviation and discrepancies before sending to SLOT buying house
- Weekly follow up on order placed by clients through expediting to ensure order are delivered on time.
- Initiate necessary actions to ensure best value is received and customer requirements are met and on time.
- Sending out delivery status update to clients every two weeks through expediting.
- Sending out feedback forms to buyer after delivery to measure our performance.
- Evaluating SLOT performance using clients KPI.
- Taking steps to avoid re-occurrence.
- Monitor, follow-up and reconciling all invoices raised for payment.
- Assisting the procurement Manager
- Collating with SLOT buying house CSPS for all orders placed with issues: like deviation, false majeure, delivery time and communicating it to clients on time and giving them feedback also on time.
- Follow-up on materials delivery to NLNG by ensuring pre-arrangement and post arrangement are made also materials are successfully delivered to clients base
- Visiting of clients quarterly to build up relationship with them.
- Calling of clients weekly.
- Evaluation and re-evaluation of Suppliers quarterly in order to monitor their performance: NEW (ISO)
- Registering of enquiries, purchase order and quotations in their various log book
- Monthly submission of report on all invoices submitted and their payment update to the Finance department

JOB QUALIFICATION:

- B.sc, B.eng, HND in any Engineering or science discipline.
- Must be a computer Literate.
- Must have an Idea of Mathematics.
- Well-developed analytical thinking, problem solving, and negotiation skills.
- Age between 25 years - 35 years.
- Experience in Procurement is an added advantage.
